My name is Denise, founder of NatuTreats, a Puerto Rican small business dedicated to making 100% natural, handcrafted treats for dogs.

NatuTreats was born during one of the most uncertain moments of my life. In 2020, I lost my job during the pandemic and decided to turn that challenge into a new beginning. While searching for purpose, I discovered a pet bakery baking course focused on healthy, natural ingredients. I tried the recipes with my own dogs, and when I saw how much they loved them and how my neighbor's pets enjoyed them too, I realized I could transform this passion into something meaningful.

From my kitchen, NatuTreats grew little by little. I began baking daily, participating in local pop-ups, and selling to pet stores across Puerto Rico. What started as a home project became a recognized brand known for freshness, transparency, and love.

My biggest motivation comes from seeing how something as simple as a treat can make pets healthier and happier. Every wagging tail reminds me that I'm on the right path.

After 4 years of growth, we have secured our first physical location. This loan will help me purchase essential equipment, restock inventory, invest in signage, recruit staff, and market to open our doors very soon. NatuTreats represents more than treats; it's love, health, and trust transformed into beautiful experiences for every pet and family we serve.
