As the Senior Manager of Portfolio Operations, Meg oversees our Partner Support team and coordinates projects that affect the daily operations of Kiva’s global community of Field Partners. Her overall focus is on making the Partnerships team more efficient in order to facilitate sustainable growth. Before joining Kiva, Meg lived in Boston where she worked closely with low-income immigrant families on early education issues. This position, as well as travel, expanded her interest in microfinance and international development. After becoming a Kiva lender in 2007, Meg deepened her hands-on knowledge of Kiva’s work by serving three placements as a Kiva Fellow from October 2009 to August 2010. She worked with field partners in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and San Francisco. Upon finishing her fellowship, Meg spent a year working at a non-profit that focused on community development and advocacy projects in El Salvador before joining Kiva’s team full time in August 2011.
