4 Amazing Kiva U Teams Get Creative for the Cause!

Kiva U is full of passionate students and educators who have come together to learn about the world, take action, and maximize their impact. Check out what these four Kiva U teams did to make a dent in global poverty or improve their communities - you can't help but be inspired!
1. Kiva Kids in Georgia
A group of elementary school students from Savannah Country Day School recently raised over $1,000 to fund Kiva loans by selling homemade crafts in their community.
2. Southwind High School
Members of the Southwind High School Kiva team in Memphis spent a day volunteering at their local Humane Society.
3. City College of San Francisco
Last month the Kiva team at CCSF sold fresh-to-order paninis to hungry students on their college campus. By the end of the day, not only had they satisfied the growling stomachs of hundreds of their classmates, but they had helped over 20 students set up Kiva accounts.
4. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory
High school students at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep visited Kiva Zip borrower Bumzy's Cookies to see how their loans were being put to use and to taste test a few cookies, too!
