A loan helped a member to purchase raw materials of fabric to expand her business.

Flor De Cielo Group's story

Josefina, 32 years old, is married with 4 children. She works selling polleras [traditional Andean skirts] in her own house. She gets up very early to organize her home and then dedicate herself fully to sewing her clothing to then be ready for sales. She has worked at this activity for 4 years. This is her first loan and she will invest it in the purchase of raw materials of fabric to expand her business.

She met her group because they are friends from her neighborhood. Her goal and aspiration in relation to this loan and her business is to purchase more working material and, so, to have more income, which is her goal. Her aspiration in relation to her life and her family is to have land to give her children more conveniences.

Only the officers are in the photo because they made a remote disbursement due to the pandemic.

In this group: Pastora, Lourdes, Betty, Relmir, Juana, Carmen, Leonarda, Josefina
